The worst part is that Gil keeps claiming that he was right. :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: :lolbron::russ:.
Unless you admit to manipulating what I posted into believing you were right than we don't need to carry this on any further... :manny:

I have absolutely no problem with being wrong, I just have a problem with dudes i) pushing agendas ii) misconstruing what I post into believing something I never meant in the first place.

He's going to someone who already has their shyt together. There are so many teams who would be instant powerhouses with him. He wants that ring.

Someone is going to get very very scary next year.

Ya'know....I think I was right. :yeshrug:

Is this the Gil way of waving the white flag? You won't go any further? You're really going to stop claiming that you were right that he was going to stay with OKC and that I was an idiot for saying that he was moving to a contender?

You know, coming from you, I respect that. :salute:

Can't expect you to be able to jump all the way to "I admit I was wrong" all at once. :yeshrug:

No. This is me saying I don't wanna continue going in circles over the same topic. I'm just going to repeat the same shyt I posted before. Quite clearly you have no interest in admitting that you manipulated what I posted into drawing your own conclusions nor admitting that you were wrong on said topics.

Is this the same Gil Scott-Heroin who literally went in circles for THREE MONTHS about whether Johnson or Ariza was the better role player? :dwillhuh:

Of course I'm not going to "admit I was wrong on said topics".

* I won't admit I was wrong in saying that Durant was going to go to a contender.

* I won't admit I was wrong in saying that from the WCSF last year to the WCSF this year, the Warriors caught a lot of injury luck.

* I won't admit I was wrong when I said during the playoffs last year that the Cavs needed to sit Kyrie until they absolutely needed him in the Finals so he would stop aggravating his injury.

* I won't admit I was wrong when I said that Tony Allen got injured in Game 3.

You know why? Because I was pretty obviously right. :yeshrug:

* You claim that you were right about Durant because we "couldn't possibly have known" he would abandon OKC....even though I predicted exactly that.

* You claim that you were right about GS because Conley/Allen's injuries in 2015 supposedly didn't matter (though they obviously did) and because Curry wasn't 100% for the 2016 Finals (even though I was NEVER talking about the 2016 Finals).

* You claim that you were right about Kyrie because we "couldn't possibly have known" that the Cavs wouldn't need him against the Hawks....even though I predicted exactly that.

* You claim you were right about Tony Allen not getting hurt in Game 3...okay, you don't really have an argument there and just keep lying.

You REALLY have to reach to keep claiming that you were right. While the actual facts (Durant goes to GS, Conley/Allen hurt in 2015, Cavs beating Hawks without Kyrie, Kyrie re-injuring his knee, Tony Allen injured in game 3) ALL match what I said, and you have to make up extraordinary "what if" alternative realities where the facts really would have matched what you said if the world had just worked out the way it should have.

Ya know, you're a bit of a tool. :francis:

See you're not understanding me. I will thing they're fun to watch at times(I don't particularly enjoy blowouts), same as I did with the Heat. They were fun to watch, fun to hate, fun to cheer against. The difference here is that Warriors are overwhelming in terms of talent to the point they're going to win. It's not an "if", barring any sort of injuries, they're going to win and it's too predictable and boring that way. I know there's no such thing as parity in the NBA, but there is usually 4-5 contending teams that have a chance at a title or at least a cinderella run, that won't happen these next two years(at least). Warriors will win and that's pretty much that. That is what I find boring. So sure, their games may be enjoyable until they become routs and the death lineup featuring Durant in the place of Barnes will obviously be incredible, but it won't make for an entertaining season whatsoever.

Breh, he's the greatest shooter of all time and great at finishing at the rim, if he was as good as you make him out to be as a passer/defender then he'd be the greatest player ever. The extent you hype up his weaknesses(I don't think passing is a weakness of his, but his decision making certainly is) is ridiculous.

THE HEAT WERE OVERWHELMING IN TALENT
AND WENT 2-4.
THE MAVS NOR THE SPURS WERE MORE TALENTED
THAN MIA...
DONT GET AHEAD OF YOURSELF.

And I eventually stopped replying to that dude too. We've been arguing over the same points for well over a season now. I don't see how that reference is even relevant since I stopped discussing that topic in 1/3rd of the time that I still continued to argue with you.

I didn't make up "what if" alternatives (if anything you're guilty of this, not me) I simply backed up what I said with facts and I didn't manipulate (well, least not intentionally) what you posted into something you clearly weren't implying. I can't say the same for you. I was going to reply to your previous post in the other thread until you saw you blatantly try to twist what I said (Kyrie playing "significant minutes") by trying to search for somewhere in my statements where you think I insinuated as such. That reminder of what games you play wasn't worth it. I'd just be repeatin the same thing over and over.

It's hilarious you continue to say I'm "arrogant" and "hard-headed" when you're the one that can't leave this alone. Nor can you leave alone most of the discussions you have on this board.

Nah, it's more like -

"Why don't we show each other how to go 16-0 in the postseason, and sweep LeBron in the process".
