If KD had a great shooter off of screens, and not much else, a scoring PG who can't facilitate or play defense, Richard Jefferson, a big who can only shoot, and a wing player that can get to the rim mediocrely, play hustle defense exclusively, and take dumb shots, he'd have TWO rings? Forgive the fact that he's had better benches than the current Cleveland bench IN Oklahoma, I won't even mention that, but to pretend as if Kevin, who has rightfully been an inferior player to LeBron his entire life, would have not one but two rings is idiotic. A. This bench does nothing to stop the issues they faced in the first place against Miami. If Westbrook wasn't ready and James Harden disappeared, you think plugging in first time Finals visitors Deron Williams and Kyle Korver is gonna remedy that? they needed more offense outside of Kevin granted, but as I mentioned, Deron has been horrible at facilitating since coming to Cleveland, even without Bron on the court, or Kyrie. The rest of the bench only does anything of value catch and shooting, and they need fukk nothing outside of that before coming here (mainly because they're all washed up). I beseech you, who is getting these guys the ball in this series? Westbrook was still a glorified 2 guard at this stage. Running with this bench isn't helping them get to the Finals also, James Harden had more value that postseason run than this entire bench has had period.

B. Again, OKC doesn't make the Finals with this bench because the reason they figured the Spurs out was by going "big". Penes Kanter is needed for them to beat them. That's dead honest. But if they do somehow still get matched up w the Dubs, what does this bench resolve for them exactly? I want you to tell me that. I recognize that they had scoring problems outside of 3 or 4 guys, and were strapped for shooters. But how much is being sacrificed defensively by playing any of the guys that are shooters from Cleveland's bench? They're all terrible defenders. I guess Deron can replace the garbage minutes Foye did of just carrying the ball up the court and passing it to KD or Russell. Speaking of, as I mentioned, these players need to be fed the ball.
