People just look at stats and not the context of it. He didn't play well the first 4 games and then game 5 he went off and then he appeared again towards the end of game 6.

No one remembers all of the memes with Curry face on milk cartons saying that he is missing? There is a reason for that. His team carried him through the first 3 quarters and most superstars don't have that luxury

He had one bad game that series wat are u talking about

You do realize that 99% of "memes" are created from an almost caricature standpoint and that once word of something is created (whether it be true or not), it spreads like wildfire? Do you really think that shyt has any analytical backing behind it or is it driven by a sheep mentality?

His team DID NOT carry him at any point during the Finals. This nonsense needs to stop. Sure he didn't have his best series of the playoffs, but that was mostly down to the fact that the Cavs centered their ENTIRE defense around limiting his options. Not just one or two players - their ENTIRE defense. If the Warriors actually gave the Cavs players a reason to defend them (making open shots), this entire slapstick narrative of Curry disappearing wouldn't exist.

Did it ever cross your mind that Curry was the engine behind the Warriors offense, and that this is why the role players had all those open shots? Open shots that once they hit, they started to pull away from the Cavs. Who the fukk do you think actually put them in a position to shoot wide open shots? Who the fukk do you think put them in a position to drive into the lane where there wasn't a defender in sight? You wanna talk about context of his stats - let's talk about the context behind how the Warriors actually generated their points. Let's talk about how Curry was the by far the most influential factor on offense for them throughout the entire series.

But yall nikkas don't wanna talk bout that though. Huh.

You know iggy was left uncovered most of the time right? Mike Conley played most of the Grizzlies series and it didn't matter. Patrick Beverly wasn't changing shyt that series against the rockets. He wasn't shut down in games 1 or 3. LeBron didn't average a triple double, and he shot really poorly. 40% I think with no jumpers falling at all I think. Warriors earned it plain and simple. Can't see why everyone is so mad over that. Is black thoughts really that annoying to all of you?

:stopitslime:
He hit Jumpers breh...Don't make me post that footage.

Anytime you have such a HIGH USAGE RATE and also are the focal point of the opposing defense you usually not gonna shoot a pretty percentage.

nikkas just don't watch basketball and it's funny as hell when yall expose yourselves.

Bron had one on one coverage THE WHOLE SERIES. nikka was barely doubled AT ALL. This has been done 2 years in a row with success and Bron has lost both years. nikkas need to really stop lying to themselves. The Warriors rarely double anybody.

The memes was to show you that during that time, people thought Curry was playing bad. He didn't play well until the the 5th game. Game 2 was the worst performance by a mvp since 1985 (5-23). Game 3 Curry disappeared for the first 3 quarters and they were getting blown out . Then in the 4th he started lighting them up and scored 17 but still lost them the game because he turned the ball over 3 times in the crucial minute and half left in the game. Game 4 he disappeared again for the first 3 quarters but luckily his team was blowing the Cavs out by that time so he wasn't needed. And in game 1, Thompson bailed them out in the 4th to get them into overtime and Curry sealed the deal in OT after Irving was out :jbhmm:

45% is average and Curry only shot 44.3% for the series. He didn't shoot well and he turned the ball over a ton (nearly 5 times per game), but he didn't disappear. The league is trying to blow him up. CP3 was a much better player than Curry last season. Always has been. So was Anthony Davis.
