Thread is jokes..but I never wanna hear this dude mentioned with Bron or Bean again if he doesn't win fmvp back to back years.

I can't rock with this. Tryna cap on Steph for playing like shyt completely undermines what the Cavs did on defense last night. When he would come off a screen, two players were usually trailing and when the defense would rotate, it would allow Iggy or Livingston or Green open. It was smart defense to not let Steph and Klay get loose but maybe the Cavs overplayed it a bit. They have to find some balance with that and they probably wont find that balance until Game 4.

Yeah they totally overdid it. It's one thing to hedge toward klay and Steph but to completely smother them with 2 or three players and leave people wide open in the paint is just stupid.

So how did other great players put up stats and still win the finals?:dwillhuh:

The excuse making is just ridiculous man :mjlol:
I was specifically talking about Game 1. Curry averaged 26 ppg (10 ppg more than any other Warriors player) in the Finals last season, yet judging by this board you would've thought that he was a non-factor. Every case is different, you can't compare past greats to the position Curry is in now. Especially when he receives more attention on/off the ball than a large majority of them.

Since you have compared Curry to Jordan in the past I thought about making a thread comparing both their Game 1's in their 2nd Finals appearance. Check the advanced metrics on these two games and post the results :mjlol: can't wait to see what you'll find :umad:

I recall you saying that the season Curry was having this year was comparable to Jordan and could make a case that his 2015-2016 season was better than any year Jordan had. With all those true fg%, PER's and efficiency taken into account. Am I lying? I'm not gonna search for that shyt but if I have to I will.
