Steph has basically become Dirk of PGs.
His numbers don't tell the whole story. Or even half of it. When he's on the floor, he alters spacing and creates open looks for his teammates just by putting pressure on the defense to always be aware of him.
That's the benefit of being an all time great shooter. Even when your shots not falling, defense is still overly concerned with you to the point they letting Ezeli, Green, and Livingston get wide open all game long.
He's getting trapped, hedged, and double every single time in the half court set. He's finding the open guys. Who cares about Finals MVP. It says a lot that he requires THAT much attention and dedication to stop, whereas teams will just throw Kawhi or Iggy (Marion, Diaw, Stevenson, etc) at LeBron and let him brick his way to Ls.
