It seems like either nikkas just started watching Curry in 2014 or have short term memory. Curry been a problem since college. He didn't get the attention right away because his size but when dude came into the league he was lighting nikkas up with Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright and them nikkas.

But this thread makes sense considering OP's screen name.

bron wasn't checking him tho. Those were help defense blocks

Does this look anything like the alternate reality where "Bron is afraid to cover him after getting done up"? :jagfan:

Just inventing fan fiction to replace fact

he had the coach of the year and two all-star teammates
goat shooter and lethal when put in the right situation
but i'm talking about the one man army type of players individually dominant

First of all this is horrible logic on so many levels, second of all Curry was evolving into a superstar before Kerr was the coach, before Draymond even became a starter and before Klay was the player he is today. He was an efficient high volume scorer (predominantly ISO), as well as averaging nearly 9 assists all the back in 2013/14 and similar in 2012/2013.

mark jackson is the one who started to figure out the splash theory
his progression from 14&5 to 24&8 are right in line with coach jackson and klay arriving(dayday the next year)
chef as the only real threat goes nowhere he will still have his good night's but nothing like the level he's on now when you can't just key in on him

:mjgrin:just wave the white flag i can't stop won't stop

How the hell are you gonna be blatantly dishonest about him averaging 14&5 to 24&8 within a season, as if he didn't only averagin 28 mins per game while dealing with injuries (nevermind the fact you're leaving out the season where he was 23&8 that came in between those two seasons) Why are you ignoring prior to that 14 ppg season (26 games totals/28 mins avg), as if he wasn't scoring nearly 19 ppg on ELITE efficiency? Curry averaged 14.7 ppg in that season because he was dealing with ankle issues and only averaged 28 mins per game.

He averaged an extra 10 MINUTES from in 2012/13 than he did in 2011/12, which explains his PPG being higher. On a same minute per game basis, look at the scoring numbers -

UesxsQ9.png

18.8 ppg/49% shooting on 14.6 shots in 2012
21.6 ppg/45% shooting on 16.8 shots in 2013

His scoring on an equal minute basis didn't change much from when he came into the league in 2009 to 2013.

You're acting as if that increase in scoring production within a year or two isn't just the part of natural progression and playing more minutes? :gucci:

Except you just used numbers as foundation for your argument, in the most dishonest manner, when I called you out on it suddenly I'm blinded by the numbers? You can't make this shyt up :dead:

you brought it up first broooooo*
That's not the point and you know it. You used numbers to back your argument in a dishonest manner without the proper context. When I showed you those scoring numbers are nearly the same on a per minute from both seasons, you came with some nonsense about "you are blinded by the numbers", as if you didn't use numbers to back your eye test. Clearly it is your eye test which is broken, hence why you'd use numbers out of context to push your argument.

The miniscule difference between Curry's scoring numbers (on a same minute basis) from 2009 to 2013 is down to his progression as a player and the fact he was able to stay healthy. Not this nonsense about not being able to carry a team, because he's propped up by Draymond and Klay. Some of the most disingenious shyt I've ever seen on this board. You're completely dismissing the fact that players get better from their rookie season and build their bodies up to get over injuries.

:heh:
