As the primary defender? Far as I can tell, he'd guarded Durant on switches and occasionally just to give a different look. It should be barnes/iggy guarding him.

True. Low key tho, the '2011 Mavs had one of the most impressive title runs:

Blazers (Brandon Roy/LaMarcus Aldridge)
Lakers (back to back defending champs going for the 3 peat)
Thunder (Durant, Westbrook Harden & Ibaka)
Heat (Lebron & Wade taking turns doing video game shyt)

Wade was still considered top 5 at the time (this was when ppl were still arguing that he was better than Bron and "Batman"). So that means Dirk went through arguably 4 of the top 5 players in the league. (Lebron Kobe Durant Wade) plus 2 more in top 10-15 consideration (Westbrook, Bosh, Gasol..) and i forget what Roy's status was by that point in his career.

2011 was one of the peak talent years in the league imho, both conferences were pretty stacked and just about all the main cogs were healthy for once. So that Dirk came out on top outta that was crazy

Green helps with Durant when Barnes is on the floor, especially Durant PNR, but when Iggy is out there he has more freedom.

Now that I think about it, Dray's breakout was last year and I think durant only played a single half against them. Durant has the advantage over Dray, but we'll see if he puts up 30 in a half again.
