It may not be normal but it's very common for folks to drink and smoke and do whatever on weekends. Some do it throughout the week. More common than u think. I would never drag someone down but I do what I can do if I have some extra money. But real talk I think she maybe too boring too because she shouldve had a man before me. She light skinned with the hair y'all consider good hair. She looked so so without make up but when she had her nice outfit and make up on...she looked good. But again some must be on her because she should've had a man snatched up. But she always at home or work or in bed sleep.

She definitely from the country. My mom from the country too so they had that in common. But my mom did say she seemed odd because my mom is very outgoing. My mom don't understand why she didn't go to her faculty holiday parties and why she so picky about everything she eats, where she likes to go, etc.

My mom told me to always ask her for suggestions but she the type who I guess want the man to do everything. The girl I dated got mad at her sister fiance for not being a gentleman and not helping her sister with her brakes. I did put her on with a family mechanic who does that. Maybe I'm too laidback and quiet like my dad is and the chick needs a man to control everything. My mom doesn't let my dad do that and never have so maybe my parents relationship had an effect on me along with my personality.

It's sad cuz my mom didn't like my 2 ex girls but she liked her except her pickiness and not being more outgoing.

I can relate to the girl that op is describing. I've had dudes tell me I'm boring because I'm a home body, spend a lot of time with my family, go to bed early. Dudes would like legit get mad because I was in bed sleeping. Like what else am I supposed to be doing on a Wednesday night at 10:00 pm when I have to be up at 6 the next morning to go to work

Atleast she understand that you lost interest in her and her lack of interest in the shyt you do and experimenting.
Plus as far as drinking and drugging goes, you can't be with no chick who don't got a workman's knowledge of drugs and thinks weed is on the same level as crack/heroin and that if you drink casually, you'll eventually come home one day and kick the shyt out of her like "X did to Y on Days of our lives" or some other bullshyt.

She sounds decent enough but you weren't 'Wowed' with her from the get and apparently didn't like staying in with her and watching shyt, something she was comfortable doing and prolly only wanted to do to a point. Too many problems would have arose and since she sounds quiet, you'd only end up having a jaded girl on your arm who would either break it off with you for drinking and drugging and being "Too active'' with the wanting to go out and shyt or just stick with you and be a hollow type chick who acts like you beat the shyt out of her on some super timid shyt.

I feel she should've had a dude because she does have education, is a teacher, and she is light skinned with what people call good hair. All that skin complexion and hair shyt don't phase me much as long as u look presentable but some blacks go off on that. I think she been with 2 dudes before me from what she said. But I think if some of these fat, unattractive, unmotivated, and busted chicks can easily find men then why can't her. I know pickings are kinda slim but there are people out here.

I do think my social use of substances would turn her off so I guess she is too good for me.

Yeah it's just my parents giving me pure hell for not staying interested in her. It's because the girl is slim, light skinned and have good hair. They want grandchildren and I'm the only child so now they putting pressure on me. They didn't like my ex fiance for many reasons and some were good reasons and they liked the newer girl. My mom just can't get with her cancelling thanksgiving plans and her being such a peculiar eater and being so quiet and not outgoing. But she still think I shouldn't have let her go.
