Web dev came a long way, it’s just too fast paced. what was hot just a year ago is now legacy code. Gotta constantly keep up with every little change but otherwise, I like it tho

Nah it'll probably keep growing in importance. Browsers are becoming more powerful and people have high speed internet nowadays, so you'll see more and more programs/applications that are made for browsers as opposed to desktops.

you misunderstand. i hate web-dev, not browsers or web-apps. scrap js, css, and html. come up with a new, modern way to do web-dev. and no, i don't mean web-assembly.
