its kinda funny fam.

when you date a hood chick people will look back and say thats your fault for dating a hood chick and that youre an idiot.

but if a nikka grows up in the suburbs with an opulent family surrounded by whites and such, follows their footsteps, becomes successful and marries a non-black chick then he is a c00n.

what gives :ohhh:
Well there is a line a lot of black males cross(still a very small percentage of those who date interracially) in which they call out black people for things of which they
don't ascribe to themselves. I lived in the hood, and moved ever so slightly over into a jewish neighborhood, of which is now becoming a bit more black. I got to see
the suburban life, and the city life, and can speak to both sides. A guy who grew up in the suburbs and was protected for the entirety of his life has no real
reason to bash blacks when he doesn't understand the motives behind the lifestyle. A man who was just doing his thing, had good parents and managed to
date outside his race is simply someone living. Anyone who calls him a c00n is probably not worth shyt themselves. Thanks to my mom, I got culture of all
types and have a better idea of how race relations work, contrary to what people read online or see on TV.

If you aren't out talking that shyt on your own people while you live in a great area free of riff raff, you won, and should be recognized as such.
Black people have a history though of feeling alienated by anyone who didn't struggle growing up, and cast them out unfairly. That's all.

You dudes need to chill with the thug chasing shyt though.I live in Detroit (aka ground zero for ratchet bytches) ,went to schools of choice my whole damn life and never once have I had issues getting at these females. They might make comments like "you sound white" but i've never had to fight for these ho's attn.If you had a problem getting females it's because you're probably either lame or just an ugly ass nikka.Being about your studies ain't have shyt to do with it.If anything that brings more hoes to you because you're "different" than the scum nikkas they're used to.

On the flipside...people from the hood will diss a suburban dude because from their POV (key word their) he didnt experience any struggles and had everything given to him.

Theyll say things like he's white washed, has no street smarts, is spoiled, snobby, etc. It goes both ways breh :patrice:. People in the black community glorify being hood and shun those who came up a bit easier. Probably the reason you cant take the hood out of a nikka even if you take him out the hood. He doesnt wanna be seen has a suburban p*ssy but a tough hood nikka rather.

shyt I know a dude..childhood friend who moved to the suburbs from one of Toronto's hoods around age 10. Dude got shot and murdered just down the block from my parents house in the suburbs weeks ago off some foolery. His straight and narrow brother almost got got too. The trouble was certainly avoidable based on stories I heard.

:scust:I don't know why brehs waste their time with chicks with no personality (or one that doesn't fit theirs). You know its not gonna work out for the long-term no matter how attractive she is.
shes nowhere near attractive enough for a nikka to deal with a personality like that. I dont know if shes that bad in real life though, i think its just her image as an artist that theyre going for

Yea unfortunately, to survive in the hood, you usually have to be either extremely street smart, or play the part that gets you the least L's. I remember being called a whiteboy for such things
as using "solemn" in a sentence and the first time I busted out a skateboard. I am not worried about it now, though, cause I think deep down, some people feel it is a threat
to their blackness to embrace such things. I was always confident about my identity so I never had that conversation with myself, but trust me when I say if everybody COULD leave the hood,
most would. Unfortunately, when you are in it, you are a bit player at the mercy of a shytty environment.

What is another issue is well-to-do blacks going back to the hood to get some sense of authenticity. I lost a couple homies off that shyt. Most people aren't about that life, and better still,
most don't *want* to be. It is imperative we find ways to get cash flowing into those neighborhoods, cause I don't know about the rest of the country, but her in Chicago, hoods
get leveled instead of fixed. Those people get displaced, hence our Southside being fukked up. Gentrification I have no problem with, though my old neighborhood looks NOTHING like
it did when I grew up, but I also don't see the pushers, the gang bangers, the prostitutes I used to. Unfortunately, for the rich developers to come in, people who
grew up rough lose their homes and get thrown into another area with people who don't want them there.:mjcry:Thank GOD my mom wasn't on that hood shyt.
Saved me a lot of grief.

And people say I was making excuses when i said black girls didn't fukk with me for the longest. Grew up in the hood, didn't grow up a hood, got called
all kinds of lames (not that she said it.) Obviously if you can leave the hood, you find more quality, but being about your business and expanding your mind
is kryponite to these girls. Obviously we shouldn't sweat that if we older, but I know young'ns in the hood who stay in the books and do their shyt and have to
fight for the any girls attention. :yeshrug: Just the way it is. Eventually they gonna want you, though, but you have to be willing to put up with
kids, flab, and mental hangups brought on by the guys before you. Level headed chicks are taken so damned quick sometimes:to:

or maybe they saw the bytch in you. :yeshrug:

I saw a dude i havent seen since high school the other day & he told he was a male nurse. I guess some chicks would clown him but i told him its better than being a dope boy, but i wasnt throwing any shade. Give me the 9-5 dude.
:pachaha:Male nurses get clowned regardless, though it is unwarranted. Respectable ass gig to hold down, and if his debt is straight, he will pull in
cash no problem.

shyt, my dad was one of those street guys. Love him, but I do remember being a kid and he wasn't at home at very weird times of the night. I didn't know
he didn't have a job, but he was still bringing in money:patrice:

Fair enough, I wasn't ever a tough guy, and wouldn't pretend to be, especially since I was short. But the tides have turned.
Running into these girls (not all, but most) and seeing how things turned out, and I think "Wow, I had a huge crush on you are one point."
I got the better end of the deal.:yeshrug:
