Pretty sure this isn't what Hue Jackson signed up for.
DePodesta had been around the Browns in the background most of last season.
If this was the case why not trade Joe Thomas, Mack, Gipson, and Schwartz at the deadline last year?
This would also mean that people like Joe Haden and Joe Thomas would more than likely be traded now tho.

But I would draft a qb and get receivers and running backs..
It's easier to build a defense than offense, so I would tather have a team who lose a game 35 to 28 and be exciting to watch the first year of losing and come back and get the defense taking care of

Proven, better than these busts in the draft & would be working with QB guru Hue on a friendly contract if it didn't pan out. Makes a lot of sense

Edit: Actually it does if Hue really loves Goff but neither are ready for NFL now, and like I said friendly contract w/ Kaep, so they'd sit until ready. Just wouldn't spend a 2 in my own opinion
Why would you give up 2/5ths of your O-line then?
