"Present in the studio while recording 'Some Cut' was producer Lil Jon, alongside guitarist Craig Love and bassist Marquis Jefferson. Jon was swaying in a chair during production, and Love noted the noise of the chair squeaking in time with the beat. They then decided to attach a microphone to the chair, with headphones on rocking to the beat back and forth, and adding the squeak sound into the mix"
