CyHi is another "Elite Rapper" who won't be able to write a potent diss to save himself.

He'll be too focused on being clever and overly lyrical to make shyt that lands in a meaningful way. Delivery lazy, boring beat, no passion and not one quotable diss in the whole 4.20 minutes.

Cole could actually take this one and redeem himself.

A few weeks ago, he tweeted that he “grew up in an era where your (lyricists) were from the streets” and criticised rappers who are just good with words without real life experiences. Some took it as a shot at Cole and yesterday, CyHi responded saying he wasn’t, but that it did remind him of something he wanted to address. He seems to have taken offence to some of Cole’s lines from ‘False Prophets’ nearly 10 years ago and only just remembered. So tonight, he drops a song that he takes shots at Cole on.

Cyhi got a ridiculous amount of quotables on this joint.

He's elite with the bars. Always has been. He used to always drop by the studio during the Def Jam days. Really good dude, and mad talented. I think he's stuck in some kinda weird deal at Sony, so he can't drop an official album until that's cleared up. But he's a much better MC than Cole ever was. You can hear that on this joint alone. And it doesn't even sound like he's all the way awake on it, lol.

Not sure I see this as an actual "Cole diss" record though. Just seems like he was getting loose and playing around with some small jabs at a few different people. He sounds a little bored on it, but the lyrics are dope. He needs to get his business straightened out, so he can drop some real sh*t for the people. He's too talented to be sidelined by a bad deal.
