The first time I heard of Cypress Hill was Shoot em Up off the Juice Soundtrack, I really thought these cats were white(judging by B-Real's voice) but then I seen Insane to the Membrane on a episode of Beavis and Butthead and thought holy shyt! these cats are raw with it! I will say that this it provides a great balance of weed anthems and street lingo. DJ Mugg's production at the time was more funk based and dirtier(later on he would adapt into a darker sound channeling RZA's style a little)

I'm surprised the Hill don't get as much acknowledgements as many groups that came out in the 90s. Their first 4 albums were bangers!

The first 3 albums kind of got forgotten. Cypress are remembered more for the Rap Superstar Rap/Rock thing they started doing. That's the ass backwards way of seeing them but I think that's how it is these days.
