While there's no doubt he has had concussions, I just don't buy the fact that Daniel Bryan has brain trauma to the point that he should never wrestle again.

I'm not saying there's a conspiracy against him, I'm just saying it's partially society being more cautious then ever before.

If Daniel Bryan wants to wrestle, he should wrestle. He's not a drooling idiot. He's aware of the risks and is a grown man. There's no guarantee that'll he continue to injure himself permanently. It's his greatest passion in life. I'll never fault someone for following their passion.

If you don't think there are guys worse off than him currently wrestling you're delusional. Also if that test he took which effectively ended his career was so viable then it would be used by every football player in the country. If 9 out of 10 doctors say he's fine, what makes the 10th the final word?

You can't really believe that WWE, known for its horrible track record with their "independent contractors", is really doing this to protect him. They're avoiding controversy at any cost with Bryan because he is so beloved.

When it boils down to it, I'm always going to side with the individual.

What's the criteria for determining if somebody is good enough to wrestle? The combination of him having so many concussions as well as hiding/lying about his condition is enough to make anybody hold off on clearing him no matter how awesome of a guy he seems to be and amazing of a wrestler he was in the ring.

Given these small views he keeps giving into his condition I hope he can find a passion for something that can keep him occupied enough to stay away. I do not want to see somebody check out early just to see a few more matches.

1. Do you honestly believe he is the only wrestler who has suffered 2 dozen concussions, yet continues to wrestle?

2. Why aren't more athletes across multiple sports taking the test that ended Bryan's career?

In respect to the 2nd part, if you've been watching the CWC, he is lucid, thoughtful, and sharp as ever IMO. I'm not saying to wait until he degrades to the point where "blood is dripping from his ears" but let's not act like Bryan is disabled.

I've seen boxers with speech impediments get cleared to fight (not saying it was right) but Bryan can't fake fight?

“It's this heart-wrenching thing,” Bryan said. “It's tough because we all get just this one life, right? And when you find something that you love as much as I love wrestling and then they tell you that you can't do it anymore, it becomes really, really tough. And then it becomes really, really tough when now you're around it every week. It's just seeing your friends be able to go out there and do it and then you still can't do it. It's one of those things. I guess I kind of accept it, but I have a certain amount of melancholy with it."

:stopitslime: stop with these false narratives.

Vince is the one not letting him work. Daniel wants to wrestle.

I'm not saying I want to see anyone hurt, short term or long term.

But the FACT is that EVERY DOCTOR outside of the WWEs doctor, and 1 test that ISN'T proven or widespread, CLEARED him to continue wrestling.

That's fact. :yeshrug:

shyt, go back and watch total divas, even before he retired his wife was rooting for him to fail so he could be a stay at home dad :russ:.

He will never wrestle again, simply because his forced retirement and the shyt storm that would follow would prevent 99% of promoters to book him. And I don't see him wrestling in CZW :mjlol:

Nah can't possibly be his head is legit fukked up from being 5'5, added 45 pounds of unnecessary muscle, trying to work stiff wirh guys 6'4 and up so matches can "fit his style" and fslling on his head on almost all the offense he has where he leaves his feet

If bryan wpuld have came back as an actual submission wrestler rather a indie spot monkey hed be wrestling right now and be a champion contender

"Unnecessary" muscle :dahell:

You a doctor?

Only 1 doctor, who was sued for malpractice, didn't clear him.

The test that ended his career isn't widely used.

Let him wrestle.:myman:

The test found a lesion in his brain. Lesions are serious.

The shocking reasons behind Daniel Bryan's WWE retirement #ThankYouDanielBryan
Bryan explained that a medical examination in New York had found a “small, subacute lesion” in the temporoparietal region of his brain—where seizures and epilepsy are often localized.

man shut your stalking ass up

I never seen him or anyone else mention Nigel's name in any capacity outside of an ROH thread.

He's lucid on the shows taped months/weeks in advance that have room to edit when he starts fumbling and Mauro has to take over. On the live shows he's been on since the split, he's been in multiple segments where he clearly couldn't remember his lines and stumbled to the finish line to end the segment, not unlike how Foley clearly forgets a lot of stuff each week.

He's 5'8

Amann wasn't sued for malpractice. He sued Punk/Cabana for defamation of character.

Sounds to me like a guy still coming to grips with his career ending prematurely. Of course he wants to still do what he loves, it's gonna take awhile for it to sink in. We've seen it time and again whether it's boxing, football, MMA etc... shyt, Jordan himself has said in his mind he feels he could still hang with NBA players, but he knows his body says otherwise.

Difference is Bryan thinks his body (and brain) says he can still hang.
