Most of us love Pete and Dilla :yeshrug: Can’t speak for younger cats or white boys which is what you seem to be talking about but Dilla been the man since I discovered him when he got with Q Tip. D Dot shouldn’t even be talking about Dilla, who’s out here randomly comparing those two?

Apparently, he heard or was a part of those discussions. Why shouldn't he be talking about Dilla? Furthermore, he wasn't even talking about Dilla. It was about catalog.

Dilla wouldn't have saved anybody life if he was still alive.

That includes everybody in here too

None of you hitman did anything outside of the puffy/bad boy coc00n :mjlol:

I’ll never forget a Stevie J interview when he talked about “none of these producers can see me in the studio and they know that” I’m like the delusion :dead:

Breh, Nyshiem Myric has produced songs for CNN, Nas, Scarface, Pusha T and countless others.

D. Dot has credits on Da Brat, Eightball & MJG, Jermaine Dupri, Harlem World (the group).

d. dot mad, and he has a right to be, but he mad at the wrong people partially. The clips about kanye are amazing, specially since he speaks on “ghost beat making/producing”

Angelettie is my guy, but he didn't even do all of the beats that he takes credit for.

So he can't speak on Dilla. You have to make every track you claim, if you wanna speak on the greats. The Hitmen as a collective, were dope. But once Bad Boy ended, they ended. So they don’t come up in the talks. Seems they couldn't function the same outside of that system. I've been saying that for years.

I can see we're not quite ready to have a discussion about Kanye.

His entire production catalog is suspect. Dude was getting props for beats he produced when actuality they were other people's beats. Like Brian Miller. He did come out later and apologize, give credit where credit was due but since then it's been the same.
