I think it’s deeper than that. I think it’s one person who’s talented enough to adapt, break away from the pack, be multifaceted, etc …vs someone else who is not, therefore they close that gap with victimhood

Monique won her Oscar heing exceptional but got a big head, got typecast, and can no longer do real work. So now she’s doing both being a victim AND being ‘infamous’. It’s been damn near TEN YEARS since she first started complaining.
And here comes the post-Katt Williams culture to reward her fukkery
She was done dirty though. Oprah and Tyler admitted to it. How she responded during that time mad her situation worse and she lashed out at everyone. Some of the people she lashed out at didn’t deserve (DL being one). I think her response was genuinely from a hurt place but navigated that time badly. She just feel betrayed by her fellow comedians but some of the folks she lashing out at were supportive during that time.

I lost respect for her telling the whole world about what happened to his daughter, and lying and saying that he allowed it to happen.
