The only reason he went high is because of the success stories of Harden and Curry last season. Average athletes who are both highly skilled and can create & score efficiently at an extremely high level and also have a great feel for the game.
I don't see him being anywhere near those two but this is one of those wait and see things for me. Unlike most of the other rookies he hasn't exactly been put in the best position to succeed. He's a rookie playing on a team with FOUR ball dominant guards. Kobe took 24 shots in 29 minutes, that fakkit Clarkson was waiving him off

and we all know Nick Young & Lou Will don't care about nothing else but getting theirs. He's not going to get anywhere near enough touches with the way this Lakers roster is currently set up.
