Yeah but their crew (or at least the bodyguard dude) ended up hemming someone up because they were looking for the dude. Once he slammed the kid, all that squashing it shyt was over. It's beef again....
It doesn't make sense to me why they wouldn't just reach out to a mutual party to intermediate. Could have been deaded with a few phone calls.

Out of all the hip hop deaths, Scott La Rock's was probably the most random and senseless...

As far as random and senseless goes, I gotta go with Subroc. Dude ran out in the middle of a highway or some crazy shyt like that. But supposedly he was getting dusted with Cage earlier that day, so that might explain that...

Yeah I'm talking about what sparked the whole thing off..D-Nice having an innocent conversation with a female friend that was misconstrued as something else and how it took a whole year for the next domino to fall... But dumb sh1t like that happens in the hood all the time..I know n1ggas that have got their brains blown out over touch football games..

I've listened to most episodes of combat jack and D-Nice's story might be the most interesting. For him to go from on getting on with BDP to his solo career to broke and out of the game to building websites and doing photography to becoming a successful DJ is an amazing journey. It says a lot about his character to overcome all of the negative to become who he is today.
