Fair enough about the blowout..But even after getting benched for House and putting up numbers in a blowout would it be more reasonable to call the guy that leads the Finals championship team in assists a "key piece" or a "non factor"?

This is all true, and im a celtics fan, although it can be viewed that Rondo was a key piece because we were just coming off Sebastian Telfair as our starting PG. We needed a point guard like Rondo at the time just to work the system offense and feed the big 3, and he did that as well as it could have been done.

Now, that we've needed more out of him, we are getting it and we can't expect more from him really..he's been improving his jump shot and it may become an asset in the near future.

The biggest difference between Rondo and Rose is not shooting ability, but intelligence. This is why Rondo is seen by some as the better PG, but not the better player.

All SAT jokes aside I would replace the word "intelligence" with "instinct"..Rondo doesn't need athleticism to be dominate..We don't know if the same can be said about Rose..

i don't get why you guys are even arguing over who's better....2 diff players, but if i had to choose a PG i would pick rose.....sorry but i need a PG that can create his own offense and create for others, and can shoot at least 70% from the FT line.....jesus

don't get me wrong rondo is NICE.....nice as fukk.....walking triple double, but i wanna see what he does when he is the captain on a team by himself and he HAS to be the focal point offensively...i don't think it would go well....what if rondo didn't have the big 3, how many dimes would he have??? lets be real now, he gets alot of his assists when he penetrates and kicks it out to Jesus or Piru....BUT.....it is what it is, two entirely different players in two different offensive schemes.....

I'm rootin for Bron n em but i gotta c/s a lil bit here. Boston gives miami prollems but i still think MIA can take it in a 7 game series. I think a grind it out series can lean in the younger athletic team's favor. But it's gonna be a tuff one.
