I've always heard 9-12 months and that's why a lot of people thought he would miss the whole season. If he's closer to the back end of that, he is still 3 months away. Really no need to rush him back right now when the bulls have essentially already secured a playoff spot.

rudy is on a max contract. EG makes a comparable salary to deng. we already know the bulls ain't gonna add more salary. EG for deng can be traded straight up given their current salaries.
that being said, EG is a SG who can handle and create his own shot. bulls need that more than rudy gay. esp when u got jimmy ready to take over at the SF anyways.

If you're gonna get an under sized 2 guard I'd rather get monta ellis since he can score and facilitate better than gordon
