Rose need 2 comeback next season. It ain't like tha Bulls gonna make a

deep playoff run this year. Sign some more pieces in tha offseason, let Rose

get healthy, challenge for tha title next year.

Seems like he rushed it and re-injured the knee and slowed down the revovery or
Hes recovered and ready but lost alot of his speed, quickness and wants to work on getting that back.

Like someone said this could an Arenas situation all over again.
This makes sense to me.
Haven't seen him sprint AT ALL. He's done or is playing possum.:yeshrug: last year he tried to make a big game comeback too:pachaha:

sit deng .. sit noah, sit rose ..

come baack full strength next year

in the process

let jimmy improve this year ..learn the ropes more be our startin 2 next season

let boozers stat figures increase .. let his trade value increase

and then ship booz out ..

this is a win win
lol breh the team is in 4th place and a half game out of 3rd place and leading the division.

the tank ship has sailed

we could lose most of our games and still be a 8th seed at this point.

and the draft to grab some players that could have helped us was the one that just passed. could have flipped deng or noah for a player and a pick. or both of them

but past mclemore and shabazz who likely going top 4 who can we even pick up in the draft that would help us in our weaknesses?

so tanking makes on sense.

best move would be to make a power move on draft night, get a scorer in here, pick up a back up center, then let the playoffs come and see what happens. maybe some luck fall our way, who knows.

but the bulls wont do that. so our hopes hang on nate and jimmy

You look at the other two guys that tore their knees up last year Rubio & Shumpert.

- Rubio came back in mid-december and was looking :flabbynsick: for a month and a half. He only started playing like 2012 rubio around the beginning of February.

- Shump came back in mid-january and has been a shell of himself so far also, although some of that could be attributed to him being asked to play a foreign position (small forward).

Maybe rose wants to avoid that adjustment period but I dont see how thats possible. Eventually he's going to have see live game action and shake that rust off.

rose cant avoid the rust factor

my hopes is that he comes back end of feb, beg. march. that gives him a month and a half before the playoffs, then with the 1st rd, if the bulls are 1st -4th seed i like our chances vs any of those bottom teams in the 1st rd.

then by time the 2nd rd rolls around, rose should be back to himself. then we can see him go ham in the 2nd rd.

Somebody out here see this article? You have to be a subscriber of the Tribune to read the entire thing...

Columnist David Haugh of the Chicago Tribune wrote a piece on Wednesday that questioned whether or not Derrick Rose's (knee) marketing team has more control over his return than the Bulls do.

We don't normally blurb opinion pieces, but qualified beat writer K.C. Johnson (of the same newspaper) retweeted the report without comment which at a minimum suggests he isn't distancing himself from his colleague's ideas. The piece suggests that Rose isn't returning as fast as he possibly can, and it will be interesting to see if this story catches any momentum or if it fizzles out. Whether Rose plays this season or not remains up for debate after Tuesday's developments.

nope, and this is why I wanna see him come back this season. if he comes back late feb, he might have the rust off by the playoffs. if he were to wait until next season :snoop: he'd be coming into the season rusty as hell.

and the talk about making moves in the off season is a pipe dream. only way a move can be made is via trade. and if the bulls are gonna make a trade, might as well do one now, than in the summer time.

I'm very suprised that there are multiple teams who have "interest" in boozer.

btw, our front office tried to stack the deck against thibs in order for the season to get tanked, but he's too good of a coach to let the roster deficiencies determine the outcome of the team.

Man sit yo ass down somewhere. The bulls were never gonna tank they're too sound defensively and rebound too good to lose mad games and what's the point? The front office needs to get a 2nd player who can get 20+ ppg and create their own shot. It's that simple

It's easier to trade one of these overrated role players they love so much than tank.

I knew they weren't going to tank, but they should have.

And it would have been much easier to blow up the team last offseason and trade those overrated role players in the wake of Rose going down. It would be understood that Rose was taking the year off, and it would have gave the organization plenty of picks and a year to get try and get a 2nd guy here.

This......but my only question is......why didn't they go after Mayo???? a rose/mayo backcourt would be just :blessed:

as crazy as it sounds..i do'nt think that the bulls front office think that they need a 2 guard......

To reiterate the point, Rose's facebook status was just updated with the same quote from the USA Today interview.

yup, u gotta sell high. we know after 8 years he's not gonna develop handles or the ability to create a shot, so if a team is offering something of value, I'd jump on it.
