I personally think Lin could do well in Chicago's system and ya'll need shooters. Lin and Young for Rose and a first round pick seems like a good deal. :manny:
No bullshyt, I wouldn't trade Lin's expiring for Rose. They'd have $46 million tied up in Kobe and Rose next year. :huhldup:

I mean... I would try and get a serviceable PG back for Rose. PGs excel under Thibs so the goal here would be to get a decent starting PG back that can just stay healthy.

This is exactly why I wasn't opposed to drafting a PG in this years draft

Payton got selected a pick before McDermott too

Payton wouldn't be able to help you for a 2-3 years, his offense is horrendous.

If anything you should have kept Augustin, he can play starter minutes better than Brooks.

Given his injury history and his comments about wanting to preserve his body for the future, Chicago would be extremely lucky to find any who will take on that contract.
