I'm on my 3rd or 4th listen now. Album is really well done. Only mild knock I can see against it is that some of the tracks in the latter middle half sound a lil samey. He could've used either reducing a couple of those tracks or keep the same concepts and lyrics, but have added something a lil more contrasting here and there to make them stand-out on their own more. Perhaps a couple other rap guest verses and some production that was totally left field of the rest of the album. I think all guest verses are reduced to just singing or rapping the hook in Snoop's guest instance.
All in all tho, a very solid album and very cohesive. I'm leaning towards a 9/10, as even with some similar sounding tracks, song-writing, beats, lyrics and flows are all on-point. I dare anyone to list a wack bar or pointless line, cuz while some rappers these days can easily be described as not doing enough actual bars and spitting or on the opposite end of being too "rappity-rap raps", D Smoke's lyrics are succinct, practical and purposeful with much depth all throughout every verse. He gives you just enough, but not too much.
