I'm not even tripping off of the gender thing, I think what's concerning is the age of his child and his willingness to parade his child's sexuality to the public so brazenly. I think this is something that should be a private matter no matter who it is until the child is an adult and has thoroughly been able to weigh out what comes with being famous for something like this as well all the hatred that will be thrown their way. This just seems a bit reckless by the parties involved but then again I don't have a child so I can't fully speak on it.

I'm from Indonesia, Muslim Majority, and I have never witnessed more dispiteful homophobia than black american men are showing towards D Wade and his son.

Wade said in "all the smoke" that he noticed him being different than other boys when he was 3 years old. If you don't believe that you can tell if a boy is feminine or a girl is boyish at 3 you obviously don't know shyt. You can absolutely tell. And it's not Gabys fault either. 3rd sons have statistically a high potential of becoming homosexuals. That's scientific Fact.

sheesh.. whats this narrative that black ppl are callous, cold and abusive when it comes to their gay kin? I’ve heard this a lot and I don’t know where that line of thinking comes from. No one with a functioning brain thinks it’s appropriate or even helpful to attempting ‘beating’ a child back straight. Most parents just ignore that shyt till the child is old enough to live on their own.

Tbh, I assumed Dwade would dial back on the outspoken representation a bit once he saw all the negative sentiments coming from other black celebs and the opposition coming from mostly the black community.. in order to shift some of that away from his child. There’s a lot of folks attacking and bullying the boy directly (not just criticizing Dwade’s parenting skills). Once Dwade saw this I figured he’d go into ‘protection’ mode.

They are pimping a confused kid for fame, PR, and to try to take ownership of this gay teens lane.

This is what I'm feeling. Apart from the whole discussion about even knowing at 12 what gender you want to choose, the whole thing reeks of clout chasing. How can "she" be a young face and voice for that community...what talks/conferences/statements have come from "her"? There's probably lots of of young LGBQT advocates out there doing real work on the ground with disadvantaged youngsters looking at all this like

Do you go around telling people your kids sexual preference? This is what they are doing. Nobody cares that his son like dikk but him and pedophiles. This is no movement on inspirational story. This is some attention whore. I’m not praising dwade for being tolerant and supporting his child, he suppose to. You not suppose to expose your children like this. He’s still a child, no adult should be concerned about his sexual preference. Nobody finds this concerning?
