Why are people acting like this is some outlandish opinion. Pau deserving FMVP was a very popular take at the point. Kobe glazers claiming otherwise is the definition of history revisionism. A lot of those old forums have been nuked but I'm pretty sure I can still find old threads with people saying Gasol deserved it.

They were neck and neck in terms of the Box Score

And Pau had more of an impact defensively and had had a better closeout game while Kobe nearly shot them out of it with that infamous 6-24 performance. When it's close likt that, they were obviously going to give it to the bigger star for marketing reasons but it wouldn't have been some big surprise if Pau won it.

You're a fakkit. Pau shot like ass in that same G7 as well as G6. nikkas like you give Kobe NO credit for the 3 peat but wanna give FMVP to a nikka who dropped 18ppg and missed half his free throws in crunch time of G7. Absolutely disgusting bullshyt.

Arguing Pau deserved Finals MVP scoring ten less points is haterism - because with that logic, Shaq should not have won every Finals MVP.

Y’all dudes really throw your brains out the window when it involves Kobe.
Shaq averaged more points on better efficiency while dominating in the clutch and being the focus of the defense. Not the same thing at all as this. Shaq was also the lakers best player in every win which wasn’t the case in the 2010 finals. They won a game with him going 10-29 and another with him going 6-24.

Only a pure hater thinks Pau is responsible for the Lakers winning a championship. You're a sad pathetic POS. We all know if Pau averaged 29 points in the playoffs or 26 points in the playoffs y'all would be screaming that Pau carried AND WE KNOW YALL WOULD BECAUSE YOURE TRYING TO DO THAT NOW OVER PAU AVERAGING 18......yet yall brush off Kobe doing that for Shaq. Every step of the way Kobe gets discredited when he balled out or his teammates get overcredited so you can hate that way. FOH :camby:

Nobody was saying this bullshyt in real time, we were there. It would've been a shock if Pau won FMVP

I remember this like it was yesterday. Kobe got a sympathy trophy; wasn’t truly earned especially with Perkins going down
Fukk outta here. All you do is lie. Just admit you weren't there because nobody was question kobe's finals mvp he was the best player on the court that series.

Precisely. Look at those Offensive Rebounds - both he and Odom had crazy ORebs that series, which was their saving grace
without Perk being down there. Anything else besides that is jazz.

These nikkas act like the internet didn't exist in 2010, just pull up all these articles or tweets of people saying that :mjlol:
