He should have, the narrative that Kobe had no help is blasphemous, Paul was a premier PF, 20/10 guy that was gifted wrapped to the Lakers
Do premier not mean the same thing no more

premier mean Duncan, KG, Dirk.... Pau wasn't that. He was a solid top 10 PF in the golden age of position. He fit in more wit the 3rd tier at best he wasn't even at level below Duncan, KG, Dirk nikkas like Amare and Sheed was def better than Pau
Pau couldn't win a SINGLE playoff game and he had arguably the best perimeter defense around him those years they made playoffs had maybe the deepest perimeter play wit Eddie Jones, Mike Miller, Battier, Damon, Posey, Bonzi. Those 3 years it was Duncan, Dirk, Amare sweepin his ass. Couldn't get 1 game. Then when they lost all that perimeter talent besides Mike in 07 they dropped from 49 wins to 22 wit Pau still there. Fast forward when Kobe got injured in 2013 he got swept like usual
Pau was a good player. All star level at his best but nikkas try to make him somethin he wasn't at times too.... He was a real skilled, soft loser before Kobe.
