You guys act like he doesn't have the skills to adapt to be a perimeter player. It is never too late for a player to change his style and work on his shots. He already has the foot work to score from the post and crafty moves to beat a defender to the rim and to create space to shoot. We shouldn't forget he has been playing off the ball in the three years. The tools for him to be a perimeter players is already there. Trusting his range, take more shot attempts, and play within the flow of the game by not turning down open jumpers is what Wade needs to do next season. As for his performance of the finals, the finals wasn't a testament of him declining. It was a projection of him being timid to shoot the ball when had a many chances to hit open shots.

My question is why would he wait until Lebron is gone to make these adjustments not whether or not it's too late? If the tools are there why would he just now start making use of them? Since it takes years to integrate new things, why has he wasted the last 4 not integrating anything? Bron went from having 0 postgame to one of the best in the L in less than four years. Wade appears to have gotten worse in pretty much every facet of the game in that same time frame on the same team.
