when I said what I said I was devastated by the Bosh news :manny: to keep it real idk how to feel bout this team I'm just here for the ride dawg
It was a lot of devastating events this past summer, i aint mad at nobody for that. While everyone was down I chose to look at the positives instead of the negative. Youth, athleticism, spacing, defense. Same cats that was calling me out all summer now coming out the woodworks with win-ceilings basically equal to the win floor I established for this team in June :mindblown:

You thinking we winning 41 sounds pretty stupid. We went 4-4 in the preseason and we're one injury or bad stretch of games from being awful.

We still have most of the problems that I've stated and I've pretty much stayed consistent with us being a mid 30 win team. Biggest change is probably Waiters who seems to be really trying to be a playmaker.

But you pussied out, went on ignore, and haven't seen me consistently say that we'll probably be a mid 30 team unless we stay healthy with a preference to take because we have a great pick and no FA while you were saying we'd snatch Westbrook in 2017 with our financial flexibility

Me thinking we could win 41 games at minimum sounds stupid yet you believe they could win as many as 3 less than that amount. I never said we would get Westbrook, a poster asked what's the end game and I named some FA (at that time) we could potentially make a run at. Everything I said has come to pass, I said around late October you'd be done pms'ing and well well look at the date. Just compare your July Dion Waiters take to your post today, ya'll cant be rational about anything in the moment.

Almost every team in the league is one injury away from being awful :stopitslime:

As our conversation wraps up and the ceviche is down to just the last dregs of lemon juice, Justise finishes up an earlier thought about what he wants out his career, and out of his time in Miami. "I want to be a man of the people, for the people. I want to be an All-Star, to win a title for Miami and still be able to go to Publix and get my groceries. I don't see myself as better or worse than anyone else. I just want to be a regular person who happens to be good at basketball." Aside from the fact that name-dropping Publix (South Florida's most-beloved supermarket) will earn him kudos with the local fanbase, it's that desire for community and belonging that should endear Winslow to Heat fanatics in search of a new Mr. Miami.
