Giannis & Kawhi - 15th pick
Jimmy Butler - 30th pick
Karl Malone - 13th pick

But, it's such a rarity and there doesn't seem to be anyone in this draft that fits that mold.

I ran the mock draft simulator 5 times and got the Heat up to #2

Pat needs to make some sort of trade package. We've really drafted poorly since 2004 anyway. Who've we taken? Winslow, Tyler Johnson, and Mario Chalmers? That's our best in the last 13 years of the draft. Gotta find a trade we can swing that's gonna bring someone here.

I know this is the part where other teams fans come in and make it as if they're the reason we're not in, but the season is the sum of all 82 games. Double OT loss to the fukking Magic back in December hurt us more than losing to the Raptors, Knicks, whoever else.

Yeah. To illustrate the point that they've been finding productive players consistently without getting lottery picks. They happened to be two of them.

See if the Blazers want to do a 2 for 1, that way you can draft somebody that could help now and a swing for the fences and pray type of pick like Giles, who is probably the most talented player in the draft but got knees made of glass.

I was just trying to figure out why you had this imaginary starting point for us beginning at 04 while the Spurs get credit for something they did 20 years ago
