That's the beauty of Whiteside last year first half of the season he couldn't shoot free throws after all-star break he begging for you 2 foul em he is a legit wild card

I never understood why people thought hassan would lose motivation after getting paid. everything we've seen from him, he's always wanted to be one of the best. that's why he goes out there every night and tries to put up triple doubles. he loves seeing his name talked about. he loves being called great. if anything, I think we'll only get more effort out of him now that he's paid. he has that security and now he can just focus on becoming great. so far i've already seen some improvements in his footwork. he's gonna be the starting center in the all star game.

Not after getting paid, just keeping his motor going consistently. Whiteside pouts when he isn't involved into the offensive consistently. Motivated Whiteside has always been a gamechanger. I just want to see if he can keep it consistent.
