Few notes from tonight

- It's going to take some time for the offense to gel, that was evident tonight..but overall the team's play was what I was expecting, gritty, resilient, junkyard dog mentality.
- Babbitt 2/6 from 3, but they were all wide open/quality looks. With the emergence of McGruder as a defensive pest, I'm wondering if there's any minutes left for Ellington whenever he gets healthy. Remember we havent even seen J-Rich yet.
- Winslow's overall game is night and day from last year. They're using him as a point forward, he's got more bounce, and playing more aggressive, I cant recall him taking 15 shots in a game last year. The jumpshots will come.
-TJ said this offseason he studied tape of Ginobili and Kyrie, he's primed to be a double digit scorer off the bench.
-James Johnson and Willie Reed are connectors. I like watching some of the things most viewers aren't paying attention to during the game. Those guys were always coaching, encouraging guys from the sidelines. They're little things but it's good to have guys like that in the locker room.

Aint nothing guaranteed in this league so I'll take every win we can get :salute:

Good post. I totally agree with the coaching. When Winslow didn't get the shot off at the end of the quarter, JJ went over and said some words/gave a hug.

No one said it would be pretty but effort and heart doesn't show up in the box score.

I'm curious to see how the rotation plays out. Like you said, no j-rich and spo went 9-10 deep with Mac getting good minutes.

In Spo I Trust tho.

25 wins (and then some) here we come.

I was impressed with James Johnson's offensive game. I thought he was just a bruiser that played d, but he handle pretty well and create. Even knocked down a couple 3s, although I don't know how much we can count on that going forward.
