D-Will is overrated? D-Will is a product of Sloan's system? D-Will fell off? Oh Word?

You thought wrong. I never once said or alluded to that type of thinking. I made it abundantly clear that KD and Westbrook have success together because they're yin and yang of each other - it's not necessarily about the amounts of shots he takes that makes the Thunder successful: it's his aggressiveness, ability to push the tempo and play above the rim (the shots are a result of that type of play). It's basically the contrary of CP3's play, that's why they were the #1 ranked offense this season.

Are you able to distinguish NOW, that with Westbrook out, they don't have 'all those offensive weapons" like you previously stated?

They do but they're inconsistent, like typical role players. When one of em steps up, like Kevin Martin the last couple games, they're fine. A pass first pg would maximize the team's potential more but you're acting like a couple games of having no Westbrook or pg at all somehow disproves that statement.

LOL what offensive weapons? every player on the thunder outside of KD is predicated on westbrooks playmaking both serge and thabo has been playing like complete shyt since westbrook went down. serge/westbrook combo is one of the most assisted combitions in the league. luckily reggie can put the ball on the floor. This is kmarts best game in 7 games, the last series he had one good game and 5 awful games. the one good game he had he disappeared in the 2nd half.

Rondo wins playoff games. Rondo been a top 3 player in playoffs last few years.

Deron been :manny:

rondo doesn't win playoff games. his team wins playoff games. and no he hasnt been a top 3 player in the playoffs the last few seasons. rondo wouldn't do shyt on that nets team. if kg, pierce and allen had d-will instead, they'd have at least two rings.

what would rondo have done if he'd been in d-wills situation the last few seasons? absolutely fukin nothing.

You act like deron plays with scrubs.

Rondo would be no different on that team and the nets wouldn't be eliminated

bullshyt. don't be stretching this shyt. why cant you just admit you're wrong and leave it at that? this going over the same shyt is tiring when you know very well you're wrong.

When one of em steps up, like Kevin Martin the last couple games, they're fine.

LOLOLOLOLOOLOLOL

they're not fine, they barely got past the grizzlies with martin playing to the best of his abilities.

A pass first pg would maximize the team's potential more but you're acting like a couple games of having no Westbrook or pg at all somehow disproves that statement.

:what::what::what:

a pass pg doens't maximize the team's potential. you're deluded. are you saying they're better with perkins/thabo shooting than they're with westbrook shooting? it does disprove your statement, because if the thunder somehow had 'more offensive weapons than the clippers' than they wouldn't have struggled to get past an 8th seed.

you know very well, if thabo/perkins/ibaka were on any other team you wouldn't be calling them offensive weapons, you'd be laughing at anybody who said that.

are you gonna sit there and tell me rondo on this team this season, would have the thunder as the #1 ranked offense?

what about last season? when d-will was playing with

humphries, damion jones, petro and anthony morrow? what would rondo have done in that team?

Rondo would be no different on that team and the nets wouldn't be eliminated

:mindblown:

of course the nets would be eliminated. how stupid are you? is rondo gonna somehow miraculously have johnson not shooting 2-14? would rondo have the bench scoring more than FOUR three points throughout the whole series? would he turn evans into not missing bunny shots? what bout watson missing a wide open layup? what about wallace being the best three point shooter in the team throughout the series? what about when teams would actually guard rondo's jumper?

Not saying that per se but either eay he has not played up to his contract, no buts about it. Honest though Heinrich even on the one on one matchups has bottled dude up this series.

Has Paul played up to his billing? Let's not be selective now.

Since he's been healthy, he has. It wasn't so much Hinrich as it was the whole Bulls' defense. The Bulls didn't have to spread the floor, because Nets got no shooters - it was near constant stuntin and packing the paint. They made the Nets beat them by letting his teammates shoot.

He was one of a few Nets that showed up in game 7.

Here's the thing, as a Nets fan, I wanted Deron Williams to at least get us past an injured and sickly Bulls team. That game when Deron shot 2-17 made me ill, especially when role players like Nate Robinson and Kirk Heinrich looked better than they were, and in some fairness Kirk is a good defender period, help and one on one, he's a taller PG and he has the length and footwork to be a pest and he used it. Deron Williams needed to prove this series that he's an elite PG and he failed miserably, to two ways about it.

What game was this? :skittles:

D-Will did what he could during that series. Aside from a few patches in games he played great and played as well as he could. I don't think you understand what that Bulls defense did. They literally packed the paint when he was on the court and stuntd on him as much as possible. Nobody was guarding Evans and they laid off Wallace (even putting Nate on him). I couldn't begin to count how many times he'd break down the Bulls defense, pass to the open man and they'd miss point blank shots. Humphries, Lopez, Wallace, Johnson, Evans - they all missed easy shots d-will set them up during pivotal moments of the series.

If he took forced shots or shots out of sync, you would've criticized him for not getting his team involved and not passing out of help-defense. The Bulls force the ball out of his hands and he passes to a teammate who has a better look and they miss - yet he gets blasted for it?

My bad, I was talking about the triple over time game where he was ice cold up until the 3rd quarter and was responsible for 7 TO's. Either way we're playing dude close to 20 milly a year, its too much.

I agree about Gerald Wallace, that was a mistake.

Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez were consistently solid all series, but Brook had trouble getting past Noah, who low key has been balling all season but still avg about 20pts a game.

Well reggie evans :scusthov:

But either way we got work to do this offseason, the Bulls were the better team, and Rose should be salivating to come back.

One of the few bad patches he had throughout the series - some of those shots were bail out shots late in the shot clock when the ball would just keep going through everyone's hands.

You single out d-will but not Johnson?

Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez were consistently solid all series, but Brook had trouble getting past Noah, who low key has been balling all season.
GTFOH. Johnson wasn't consistent. What series did you watch? what about the 2-14 in game 7?

He averaged 14.9 points on 38 minutes in that series and you say he was consistently solid? he's making the most money on that team, sole responsibility is to score points and he's averaging that?

What was d-will suppose to do when he couldn't move without being doubled/trapped and his teammates were left open? shoot forced shots or pass to someone open who had a better look?

d-will had 17 three pointers in that series
wallace had 11 three pointers
johnson had 10 three points
the bench throughout the whole series only had FOUR.

when the biggest threat on your team from the perimeter is gerald wallace, it becomes a fukkin problem. i doubt any PG in the entire league could've beaten the bulls with that bullshyt shooting performance(s) from the nets. how the hell is d-will out there out-shooting johnson? how the hell are you putting the blame on d-will when the bench scored FOUR 3-pointers over a 7 game stretch?

how many pgs in the league or hell tell me how many players in the league could win, when their bench scored FOUR 3-pointers throughout a 7 game series and gerald wallace was their most productive shooter/support perimeter player and had a PF that averaged 30 mins but only scored 4 points?

d-will is at the bottom of the list if we were to dish out blame on this series loss.
