D12 debut disappointed me in the same way Slaughterhouse did with their second LP

both groups showed promise and seemed like they had talent up until those releases

The same way? It disappointed you the EXACT same way?

Slaughterhouse second Lp is a piece of crap.

You either had super, super high expectations with D12 or you must think they suck monkey balls.

So yes I was disappointed with their debut album, they came off as serious rappers at first and then dropped a clown album

I felt the same way after listening to GRODT for the first time also

album was flames

production is 5/5

eminem is 5/5 he was entering into his prime. flow was off the charts from fast, slow, aggresive, comedic. he was doint it all at this point.

this dude ryhmed shotguns drawn with clockwork orange

d12 was 3.5/5

and this was a good diss regardless of who it was aimed at. flow was butter

solid album 4/5

I remember riding around in frisco with my boy at midnight bumping this album on repeat drinking at the cliff house watching those giant waves splash on the rocks, walking down to the tide pools...

I miss those days

I see what you are saying.

But to say you had the same feeling after GRODT and SL's 2nd LP seems strange.

I can get you are disappointed but you cant be on the same level of disappointment right? What Im saying is, you had to enjoy D12's and 50's album more then you did with SL's?

How was GRODT disappointing btw? I mean, how high expectations did you have of 50?

if u heard Power of a Dollar, Guess whos Back and the first 3 G unit mixtapes prior to 2003 then GRODT was a disapointment b

I just felt like there wasn't any spitting and that the album was filled with a bunch of sing songy nursery rhyme joints......Eminem having the best two verses on the album wasn't a good look neither

but the rest of the world loved it so ...
