Ummm... I'm a big Jay fan. Huge. One of the biggest here. But where Pac separates himself is makin music that nikkaz feel, its like havin a conversation wit a nikka tellin you the truth. Made for the best music. Some people dont appreciate that as much as others. But I can throw Pac on no matter the occasion and be like
Jay at his best (RD, AG, TBA, Vol3) is just plain slick and sarcastic, giving you the view point of a hustler and I give him more credit than most in that he does have depth to his music, he just doesnt beat you over the head with it and you have to infer it. However sometimes we get MCHG which I dont feel like he put much into his lyrics at all. Son came lazy as hell.
Biggie had his moments, but bein connected to Pac really helped his legacy.
3000 combines what Jay and Pac give you... and a fresh perspective too. 3000 is that nikka.
