fukk the ignorance, Brazil i STILL home to the largest population of African descendants in the Western hemisphere. You will never see it on TV though because only a certain aspect of their society has the money to go to games, and only a certain aspect of their populace gets media attention. The team RIGHT NOW, is made up of the best they have to offer. Thats all. The crowd is not indicative of the country's true make up.

It'll go in waves. France had an all black team in 2006, then they went all Arab and white by 2012, now it is more mixed. Brasil should have a mixed team of whites, mixed, black, etc.

Also remember that even in basketball, Spain and Russia beat all African and LatAm nations, it ain't all about race

America is 12% black yet our entire basketball team is black. Why should soccer be any different? Especially in a country like Brazil with 40% of the population being black. We all know that black folks are better at sports than whites when w put our mind to it.

I think there is some racism going on. They are intentionally trying to keep blacks off the team. I know they tried to do this in France after the 2010 world cup. They purposely made a rule to limit the number of black and arab players.
