Whatever "it" is, they do not care about the common man and people can intuitively understand that these technological improvements are not in humanity's best interest.
We should be trying to console people and trying to figure out a game plan instead of shaming them being scared in these uncertain times..

why would all these potential "theys" have one singular common goal... that is the issue. the wild ranging potential candidate don't share a motive. they is a conjuring of convenience in the absence of knowing. It is a way to say a lot without saying anything no facts or qualifiers. again i'm not saying all conspiracies are completely invalid just most are irrational. Evolution of technology will continue to come with the potential for great abuse of power. Since the first time man started to discover and invent there have been people on the side saying we are going too far. but where should we have pumped our breaks at discovery of fire or the wheel, maybe electricity? scientists learned how to treat the human bodies by dissecting stolen cadavers in hiding. they were viewed as demonic at the time for this. You would be hard pressed to find good Christians that turn down surgery today. Knowledge of which was gained by going against the church.

If you knew enough about robotics and had the resources I guess you would be a "they" as well if you built a robot and got someone to program the AI. I'm not of the belief that we should fear technology or look at it as something that comes from the elite because you are building gods in your mind. It's people like me and you inventing shyt. All this fear response is more concerning because it's the same way natives used to act when someone took their picture and they claimed that their "souls" were being stolen or first time they saw an aeroplane. What I am saying is that most FEAR IS BASED ON IGNORANCE. What you think is vigilance is not. "they" is taking on the stature of gods in the minds of people when its just common people innovating through education. we can have another conversation about the moral responsibility science should uphold..

concern is valid. fear alone is ignorance. I would hate to see brehs looking at innovations like supernatural... which is what is beginning to happen on the low. Education learning and understanding will turn a lot of that fear into curiosity. Instead of seeing a robot and having fear you might think I could build one better or I know how that works. Which also helps us in case we ever have to safeguard against them. Take lessons from the past. Brothers already lost the last thousand years cuz we were caught lacking without gun technology.
