I have absolutely no idea, but I'm going to guess it's due to that "Stay Fly" song. I think they signed a deal, with the labeling expecting a repeat of that song's success. It didn't happen, and now they're all locked up because nobody is gonna pay "stay fly" prices to get em outta the deal for a group that hasn't been able to match that success since.
