The universe has a way of balancing itself out.

Back in the 80's/90's black women were given a platform to voice their grievances with black men.

It was unheard of for a black man to get on national tv, write books, or produce films shytting on black women.


They just took it and smiled.


It was inevitable that black men would vent to the world one day.The internet gave them that outlet.It started off as some underground internet shyt, but then started picking up a lot of momentum in late '06/ early '07 when that dude Sargent Willipete(sp?) started blowing up on YouTube.I thought he was way more logical/less bitter in his analysis of black women than Tommy is.I'm still confused as to how Tommy blew up and became the poster child for this shyt? They ran Sargent Pete off YouTube for far less.

exactly, agreed 100%. glad you put everything into context. because if you let a lot of these women tell it, black men have been "bashing" them for damn near 40 yrs.

thing is, swp gave up because he wasn't making any money off it. they flagged him 3 times, and he said fukk it. tommy has had at least 20 of his channels taken down and he just puts a new one right back up :heh: plus he got partnered on some channels, so it's harder to have his shyt taken down.

also some black chick got killed by this crazy ass religious nut. instead of blaming it on his insanity, they saw he liked a few SWP videos and blamed him for her death. that had a lot to do with swp leaving youtube as well

I don't think it was a tit for tat game.I think some men genuinely wanted to tell their side of the story.

But then all the lame/bitter cats jumped on board and started a "war".It just created more hostility/bitterness between the "warring" factions of black me/black women and less opportunities to have a civilized dialogue between the two.

The most "hurt" of both groups have taken over the "movements".The more practical/rational folks have fallen back and moved on with their lives.


The shyt is just generic now...tit for tat....but that's not what it was initially
