I think he needs to take his time between projects, Blank Blank just dropped four months ago. Putting out a tape every 3-5 months was cool when he was trying to build buzz. Now he has it, and this new shyt can rope in a few more followers but isn't adding any quality to what's already out there...
Build anticipation for your major release, even if it's a year away. Focus on putting features on other people shyt, maybe release a new song every 2-3 months to help build anticipation. He's touring heavily on the small circuit, so he getting money and he has a fan base that is growing still, don't drop no more bullshyt...
He can take this same style and win on a major release, but he really has to perfect his art. There will come critical mass where the "hot new rapper" smell rubs off and people are gonna hold you accountable for continually saying you the "best muhfukkin rapper" and "I wanna be on Drake level"...
