But beyond that you're suggesting black people can simply create their own platforms, totally divorced from everyone else, and manage it financially to the point that black artists don't need the outside money. The vast majority of the money is coming from white people. That's WHY DaBaby was on the stage, why he's been doing pop features, etc. He wants that white money. The black money at clubs wasn't enough for him. In terms of a black streaming platform...nowhere on the internet are you going to find a platform that lets people say/do whatever they want without taking an L from Apple or Google who run the app stores. This is the same thing conservatives are crying about. They wanted their own social media platform where they could be homophobic/racist Nazis on, and Apple kicked them off the app store after the January 6th fiasco. So now they remade the app, complied with the "no hate speech" requirements to be on the app store...and the Nazis are mad.

So no, there will be no black app that lets black people say/do whatever they want. If you want to disrespect groups of people you're going to lose, and no level of group economics is going to save you.
