Something can always be done.
Rappers have the right to free speech, yes. But freedom of speech has consequences.

We can collectively sue the recording industry for profiting off of abusing Black people on wax.
If people want reparations, the recording industry owes Black folks plenty too.

I wholeheartedly agree. The negative music of the past 33 years done severe damage to the modern black mindshare.

A lot of youngins actually enjoy it. I know peezy, babyface ray and shyt cause of the nikkas I work with. Hip Hop is beyond repair. I remember it took somebody saying “even gangsta nikkas are listenin to it” when Good Kid MAAD City dropped because some of the nikkas in class were hating on kendrick just cause he didn’t have a thug persona. I knew literally one nikka who liked lupe music in highschool. The streets are ignorantly glorified and ain’t shyt we can do about it.

Like how they gravitated to Keef and Future in 2012, when Kendrick and Cole were on fire.

Exactly, Thats why I don't care if gangsta music as a whole gets cancelled.

You can't even rap about robbing an Asian but can rap about killing nikkas on every line.

@Wear My Dawg's Hat was on point all along. We make genocidal music and call it "real shyt" while being "its just entertainment" at the same time. :dahell:

How many Black people have to endure stigma because of ignorant mindless rap? Black folks that don't even listen to rap for that matter.

Look at the older brehs that grew up in the late 80s, 90s, and 00s that engaged in pointless fights because of the stigma of being "a real nikka" that was heavily promoted in music.

So now the industry has a clear understanding that the gays have the power to move shyt just like the joos. And there might be an overlap between them

If the Gays and Jews and Asians start beefing, then that would be a whole world war. :damn: Cause power cannot co exist with another group(s) seeking the same thing, before a massive conflict.

I still don't understand what prompted him to do that, like didn't his pr team and label tell him that disrespecting marginalised groups that you're not part of is a big no-no.

And so do these white ceos who are so concerned about 'diversity and inclusion'. Dej loaf's song that she blew up off of has this lyric:

Replace 'nikkas' with jew and see what happens

Doja Cat literally has an anti black man anthem that blew up and she doesn't even date black men. Let her change the song title to the race that she actually deals with and see if it gets the same reaction.

I expect the gay community to get mad about Dababy since he's speaking on them. The issue is these hypocritical Ceos talking about diversity and inclusion who cancel Dababy, but reward people putting out songs celebrating black degradation and destruction.

If this situation doesnt put it into perspective of "its just entertainment" about violent songs against black men and women, then NOTHING WILL.

I don’t think so this time. Rappers don’t have the political clout unfortunately.

Only prime DMX did. He had the church crowds, the streets, the burbs, the punk rockers, the movie watchers. He could have transformed this society back 20 years ago.

Pure bullshyt. For one NWA was never on interscope. For two, both groups dropped their debut in 87 and were signed before either one blew

PE dropped their 2nd album Summer of 88, and caused a phenomonon. Soon after, NWA,came out to nullify that.

Wrong

The original lineup, formed in early 1987,[1] consisted of Arabian Prince, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and Ice Cube, with DJ Yella and MC Ren joining later that year. They released their first compilation album as a group in 1987 called N.W.A. and the Posse, which peaked at No. 39 on Billboard magazine's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

NWA was already charting in 87 with the same content and Boyz N Tha Hood getting major spins. Wasn’t nothing about PE and killing their message
