Just an album roll out. I was expecting more introspection as well.

This dudes beat selection is trash. Like 5 of these beats sounds like my throwaway beats in FL Studio. It's a just a couple of keys, a loud ass 808 and a hi hat pattern. The last album sounded like that too



I think he realizes that his fanbase doesn't give a damn about those types of songs even though the hip hop faithful would appreciate it, I bet he wanted to make an album that sounded like that but he knew he couldn't.

Noticed that about the beats on the first listen as well. Same 808 on every song basically.

Man fukk I had so much fanship for DaBaby last year in those threads but his shyt is just too fukking repetitive for me. I hate to be that guy but this ain't it for me. I didn't even make it passed the 3rd song. Skimmed to the Stunna song and yeah I really don't care for this.

I think dude can rap but I can’t really get into this because he’s literally not talking about anything. I think I could workout to it but that’s really it.

After the intro, those three-four songs all meshed together and sounded the same to me. Wasn’t until I heard Gates I realized it was a different song.

Project is cool but he HAS TO switch up the flow and content.

Going to give this a few more listens but it's very underwhelming off of first listen .

This sounds like a mixtape. The repetitive beats, subject matter, features, song length, etc. You literally could have combined all of his songs and features that he did this year and it would sound exactly the same as this album. It just doesn't sound like an album; only "Intro" and "There He Go", which is my favorite, sound like album cuts for example. Should have just worked around those two songs. Not going to critique it too much since he even said he had to dumb down his music, but I was really looking forward to this.
