Nobody should be penalized because of the actions of their parents...

Unlike their parents, it wasn't their choice to come here illegally, someone else made that choice and dragged them along...

These people were raised and educated in this country...It's idiotic we allow them to serve in the military yet only recently (I think June) were they given a pathway to citizenship...

You can't just deport somebody to a country they never knew...

No one should benefit from their parents wrongdoing. Your mother sneaks you into a theater and gets caught, do you get to stay because you're just a child and it's not your fault?

DACA recipients are largely young adults that were brought here as children and raised as Americans, including serving in the military...

Eligibility for DACA
  • are under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012;
  • came to the U.S. while under the age of 16;
  • have continuously resided in the U.S. from June 15, 2007 to the present. (For purposes of calculating this five year period, brief and innocent absences from the United States for humanitarian reasons will not be included);
  • entered the U.S. without inspection or fell out of lawful visa status before June 15, 2012;
  • were physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and at the time of making the request for consideration of deferred action with USCIS;
  • are currently in school, have graduated from high school, have obtained a GED, or have been honorably discharged from the Coast Guard or armed forces;
  • have not been convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor, or more than three misdemeanors of any kind; and
  • do not pose a threat to national security or public safety.

I don't see how you can say a person allowed to live and grow up in this country under those rules should now be deported because their parents didn't enter the country the right way a decade ago...That's a stupid argument IMO...

So what's the pro-daca coli verdict on parents then? Kids can stay, but parents gotta go?

:mjlol: no the apologists are going to tell you that obviously the parents should get to stay too. Breaking up families is wrong! How can the kids stay but the parents have to leave??? But, don't call them anchor babies :hubie:

Sucks for her but her parents broke the law and now she’s going to suffer. Lots of people have daddy’s who used to hustle and as soon as he got clipped, the man came for everything they had. Why isn’t anyone saying “it’s not fair to put his kids out on the street just because their daddy broke the law.”

Should have paid his application fees and got in line like a lot of MY friends did.

Bullshyt azz argument I see thrown around. Your friends and loved ones had to suffer through a broken azz system, and instead of reforming the system, we should keep it the same and force others to continue to suffer through it? Even though the current system has already failed for decades and created millions of illegal migrants in the process?:dahell:

It's bullshyt, rich folks get to roam the world borderless, the poor are forced to break laws and leave themselves open to exploitation and vulnerability.

It becomes an incentive to cheat the system. Win at hide-and-seek and you get your papers. There's a long line of good people who want to immigrate here. There's all kinds of fugitives living the clean life because they know one fukkup and they're GONE. And, let's not forget that these guys aren't living here crime free. They're stealing a legitimate citizen's ID in order to pass. There's no way you live in the US that long without needed identification or some kind of SSN or HIB number (which they're stealing from a legal citizen/immigrant). BTW, I had my SSN *memorized* by the time I was ~10, so I'm not buying all these DACA kids claiming they didn't know they were illegal until they tried getting into college.

If DACA is deemed illegal there will be massive deportations. In order to fill DACA you had to put all your current and past residence. This also includes known family members. Trump knows this a quick way for him to keep his f*k*up promise and deport millions of people.

It will drive a huge wedge politically and economically that will disenfranchise Latinos. No point in participating in a political process if your cousin got deported by a government promised to help him in 2012.

They’re not self deporting and we don’t have the resources to displace 30-40 million people.

Now why does this sentence sound so familiar:jbhmm:? Almost like its just a variation of shyt white people say to gaslight us about black issues. "Get in line." I know you're bullshytting because if you had that many immigrant friends at least one of them would tell you that the legal immigration system in this country is foul and full of cracks
:camby:I'm not even going to focus on the rest of the trash you said. I hope you're not black because that means you're another Coli breh incapable of seeing a larger picture

The Democrats can solve all this tomorrow by giving Trump whatever he wants in exchange for passing the Dream Act. Then Trumps Republicans will fall in line. Schumer and the Democrats can easily do this but they more worried about giving Trump a win even though they “claim” this is a dear issue to them

This can all be done before the Supreme Court even decides on the case in the spring. But Democrats rather sit and “hope for the best” as they always do

Who gives a fukk how much money he wants for his wall, just give the money to stop this nonsense already. Why is that so difficult for them?

Knowing how retarded Democrats are though they will wait until April, May, June when Supreme Court decides to kill DACA to all of a sudden say “Hey let’s work something out” :sadcam: That is how dumb their party is especially with AOC in the midst
