Just always thought it was a dope song. Never felt anything more about it.

I think it’s dope when music moves people like that though

Even without watching the video I'm not surprised at the reaction. It's a very heavy and introspective song, and accurately details the sense of worthlessness that coincides with suicidal thoughts. It's especially heavy if you're used to today's raps, it pretty much cookie cutter compared to shyt back then:

A podcast straight up said Biggie doesn't have any conscience or introspective songs. :snoop:

"When I die fukk it wanna go to hell..." :wow:

That shyt and "My Downfall" were my go to street emo anthems. I tell people to this day that Biggie was the first nikka on that hipster rap grunge XXXtentacion wave.

"Dying aint the shyt but its pleasant." :mjcry:

“My moms and pops mixed me with Jamaican Rum and Whiskey
Huh, what a set up
Shoulda pushed 'em dead off, wipe the sweat off
'Cause in this world I'm dead off, squeeze lead off
Benz sped off, ain't no shook hands in Brook-land
Army fatigue break up teams, the enemies
Look man, you want to see me locked up, shot up
Moms crotched up over the casket, screamin b*stard!“

:wow:
