Is this any good? I haven't played a good Mecha game in a long time.

I've got about 25+ hours in it so far - personally? I love it. But I can tell you real quick its not for everyone.

Right up front the story is TRASH. This is shyt STOOPID.

As for everything else... Its really the good and above average of a lot of other games. May as well be called Daemon x Anthem: Niohblade Chronicles

Some people feel the world is empty early on. Sure. But the last thing you want in sandbox like this is to hit an unavoidable battle every 10 seconds. The customization is way, way better than it has any right to be. The online components are dope. Combat is great - but the FOV will fukk you every once in a while if you enjoy melee. Some of the bosses are legit great mechanically. Some are complete dikkheads that punish you for showing up with the wrong shyt.

If anyone felt bored in this game its because they rolled into it with the cookie cutter medium armor, assault rifle, ninja sword and were shocked that they got exactly what they asked for. My current build lets me barry bonds giant monsters into the sky long enough for my railgun to hit them dead in the chest before they hit the ground. Also for whatever reason the mutation shyt in the game has me looking like a ghoul. 4/5 stars for not even trying to make sense.

but basically you need a mace, the charge up mutation weapon skill, the super heavy armor + railgun with at least cooldown mods, long range aim mod or helmet, and you can prooobbbaly do it without the limit break mutation skill too

yeah. you can actually just be doing pve in the coliseum and get a random player lined up in your next fight

there's people that read the manual and people that don't most people i've played have no clue how to deal with mimic or stealth

just beat this at 37ish hours

this is quite possibly the worst story i've ever seen. last boss rush was a bytch. still gonna play it and cop dlc when it comes out
