I bought my 9 y.o a laptop for xmas. Wtf can I do to block out EVERYTHING? I mean she had an iPad, but this laptop thing is scaring me. Something besides a key logger. Can I block out every website except Disney and educational websites?

Yeah, don't give her the wifi code and only let her on when she can be supervised while using it.

I was looking into the net nanny software just for the profanity blocking feature, but it does much more. I'm hoping this will do the trick at least until High a school.

I don't want to totally invade her privacy. I just want to peek in on her privacy daily. Wait... what am I saying? Shes 9. Ain't no privacy until she's out of MY shyt and in her own.

ETA: I'm gonna get the net nanny software. It's not a key logger that tells you every stroke, but it does give me a report of every website visited daily, it has a profanity blocking feature and it also lets me set up time blocks, so she can't sneak on in the middle of the night or can't exceed a certain amount of hours.

Nope. Watch everything they do. My niece is always on roadblox, and they have a chat room over there... idk but you never know who is on the other end even on kid friendly sites. I was 9 and was prolly chatting with grown men claiming to be kids... and fukk YouTube ain't even safe... just watch what they do.
