I really don't see a problem with the song itself. I'm Guyanese and i actually like the song. I don't consider it reggae though. The reality is people are going to emulate the music that they like. And since black artists tend to make the best music, you're eventually going to have people of other races trying to recreate that sound. It's just human nature.

With that said... I'm not a fan of the video. If you're going to use Caribbean elements in your music, at least pay homage. Put a few sisters in the video. The dancing wasn't bad. It looked like something out of America's Best Dance Crew. You can tell all the girls could dance. But I'm not feeling it.... oh yea
