man props to ya that went to college. i always wish i had. yesterday i was talking to my homey and he was complaining about his salary.

me: nikka you make $39 an hour

him: that aint shyt bro

me: dog even if taxes takes HALF you still making 19.50 an hour

him: and i pay $1000 monthly for me and my wife's student loans. we have a combined college debt of $30k and i still have to go back for my masters so im gonna add another $25k for a $15k raise

that student loan life something....im lucky my full scholarship covered everything for undergrad, my grad school loans though ..because i was out of state b*stards wouldn't give me no kinda aid...it cost me nearly 54K for a 2 year MBA..almost 7.5 years since ive got it and ive cut it in half ..i want to be done with it ASAP

i hear these student loan horror stories and i have to ask if its worth it. my homey and his wife are both certified nurses in the city. he works at a cancer center in downtown manhattan and she works the ER in the bronx. both make at least 35 an hour and work mad overtime, yet because of their loans they live in a so-so apartment in a ok neighborhood. its like whatever extra you make with your degree you end up spending on your loans anyway. my mother graduated in 1994 and she JUST finished paying off her loans mind you she just went to a small college with no campus.

if you're going to go for a Masters you gotta make sure you have a professional goal in mind...my loans were consolidated into a 15 year plan and im going on year 8..so i should be done with them before i turn 40 if i stick with the mininum monthly amount which is around 520 a month but i overpay as much as i can

No lie, I had a gay roommate who would break into my room while I was sleep and steal my laptop so he could download gay porn and fap on my bedroom floor. One night I locked my door because I knew the nikka would ask to borrow my computer, and I didn't feel like giving it to him. Yet, somehow the nikka opened my door while I was still awake (he was using his credit card to break into my room ), and was like "oh shyt, you're awake? Can I borrow your computer? I tell him yes but only for a few minutes because I was going to bed. So I end up falling asleep and forgetting about it until I wake up at like 5:30am, AND THIS nikka IS ON MY FLOOR, CROUCHED, STILL SURFING MY COMPUTER. I was like yo It's almost 6am, man. Yo give me back my computer He slid out my room and told me he'd be right back but never came back. That nikka for sure was beating his meat on my floor while I was sleep
