Looking into it, they split a 'playoff pool' amongst the players, coaches, and staff.
Total pool was about $15 million last year. I see teams win different portions of that pool depending on their performance. Is there a set way in how this is dispersed within the team or does each team get to decide how to divy it up?

The playoffs have a completely different pay structure. Basically all the teams get a small (relatively) bonus pay for each additional round of the postseason they win. Its like a few million per round, which the teams themselves decide how to split up between the players, coaches and staff.How the hell don't you get paid for the playoffs?

I always remember Dahntay for being a goon on that Nuggets team that bullied and embarrassed Chris Paul and the Hornets in that '09 first round. shyt was a massacre. I figured he and CP3 never became friends after that series lol.
So I was actually surprised to see Dahntay still in the league via Lebron James. Granted, time flies and that shyt was almost a decade ago

Players decide how the pool is divvied up, not management.
